How To Join the Associates of the Redlands Bowl

Interested in getting involved in the community and meeting new people or just love the Redlands Bowl?

The Associates of the Redlands Bowl is the group for you!

The Associates of the Redlands Bowl is a non-profit fundraising organization established in 1950 by Caroline S. Pike, a newcomer to Redlands. Inspired by the significance of the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival in the community, Mrs. Pike founded the Associates to support the financial needs of the Redlands Bowl Performing Arts (RBPA) and promote the festival.

The organization's mission includes raising funds to sustain the RBPA and promoting the Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival. Mrs. Pike also initiated the Caroline S. Pike Scholarships for winners of the Young Artist Competition, a tradition proudly continued by the Associates.

Through various fundraisers such as the Redlands Bowl Associates’ Benefit Gala in May and the July fundraising event, the Associates raise thousands of dollars annually to support the RBPA. They are actively present at every bowl performance, welcoming the community at Information Booths and distributing program materials.

Acting as official hostesses throughout the music festival, the Associates contribute to maintaining the Redlands Bowl's legacy for over half a century. Founded in alignment with the vision of Redlands Bowl founder, Grace Stewart Mullen, the festival remains the oldest continually operated music festival offering free admission.

The Associates organize numerous engaging fundraising events each year and invite participation from the community. Interested individuals can contact associatesrbowl@gmail.com for more information, with applicant selection occurring from September through December.
